The Sheraton in Bloomington is a hidden gem! The rooms are very spacious which makes it great for getting ready and to capture photos as a Sheraton Bloomington Wedding Photographer. Day Dream Dressing Rooms has a wonderful package specialized just for the Sheraton to make the getting ready experience fun and dresses up an already beautiful room to make it beautiful for the getting ready experience! It is a great all inclusive hotel for weddings. The ballroom is very open and a blank space to make it fit exactly what you’re envisioning for your wedding.

I first met Katie at a bridal show and we hit it off right away, when we had the phone consultation, it lasted almost two hours! When I photograph weddings, I always get to see bride’s and groom’s that are truly in love. Katie and Alex were no exception, you could see it in their eyes and hear it in their voices. Katie refers to Alex as her “prince charming”, he truly treats her like a princess! Katie has a dog named “Bossy” and a big part of getting married at Kellerman’s was that she could incorporate her into the ceremony, she even had her own custom tutu!

This was my first wedding as a Kellerman’s Event Center Wedding Photographer, and I can’t wait to be able to shoot there again. This wedding was unique because it was our first taste of a Minnesota winter. It was slushy and flurrying the whole day, but we still had a great time heading to the Seventh Street Truck Park. The courtyard outside of Kellerman’s was perfect for night time photos!

I absolutely LOVE photographing weddings as a Golden Oak Farm Photographer! It was wonderful that Kelly said I could use the farm to snap a couple photos for Aurelia’s 18 month session. Golden Oak Farm has a livestock guard dog named Lux, and Aurelia loved following her around. She thought the llamas were so much fun too! Aurelia is on the go all the time, so I just followed her around and caught some of her candid smiles, which most the time are the best!

Brent and Heather are HUGE Nascar fans, in fact so much so, they watch all the races together. It was no surprise that they wanted to showcase something that was close to their hearts, Brent’s Challenger. There were even little traces of races in their wedding decor, the guests waved “finish line” flags when they finished saying I do. Brent’s dog Marley, is also a big part of their lives. So much so, that when Brent proposed Marley was involved! Marley was playing “fetch” and inside the ball was the ring for Heather. Marley asked Heather on the ball “Will you be my Mom?”. Of course the answer was “YES!” I really enjoyed being able to be a Next Chapter Winery New Prague Wedding Photographer, I grew up in the area and was excited to be able to jump at the chance!

Makaela is one of the most laid back brides I have ever worked with, which worked out really well, because it rained the day of their wedding!! They say it’s suppose to be good luck, but no bride wants to hear that. She is so laid back then when her and Alex were camping with friends and he proposed, her answer was “well duh, it’s about time”. Alex and Makaela are both very funny people, and when they are together there is always a lot of laughter and giggling. I have no doubt in my mind that there will be endless times of joy in this couples future!

I may be a little biased because Nana is so close to my heart, but I LOVED this family/maternity session. Over the past couple years, I have been blessed to become closer to Nana. With her second pregnancy coming closer to the end, we wanted to incorporate a little bit of a maternity into her family session. She is absolutely glowing! We added a little bit of fun at the end of the session tossing some blue confetti, any guess to what they are having?!

Stella-Sarah and Travis’ dog is a HUGE part of their lives. We included her in their engagement session last year, and it was a blast! Sarah and Travis were heading out of town, and Travis suggested they go for a walk before they left. They headed to a open meadow that isn’t too far from their house. They let Stella off the leash and walked around, when they neared a tree, Travis pointed out there was something on it. As they got closer, Sarah noticed there was carving in the tree, it read “Will you marry me?”, when she turned around, Travis was on one knee. Sarah of course, said “YES!”.

When I met Sarah and Travis, we had an instant connection. As we talked about their venue, it made me even more excited. I love photographing as a Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard Wedding Photographer. It is such a beautiful place to photograph, and close to home for me!

Nicole and David both like to play competitive sports. They first met when they were playing in a beer pong tournament, and Nicole’s drive to win in one of the things that David loves most about her. One of the things they enjoy doing together is playing darts. This is also the opportunity that David chose to propose to Nicole. They had picked out a ring together weeks before, and then as they were leaving for a tournament, he popped the question. David was a perfect gentleman and made sure to ask Nicole’s dad for permission first. What an amazing guy! This was my first time photographing as a New Brighton Wedding Photographer, and I can surely say it didn’t disappoint!
